Ruzuo “Like Polished Jade” is an original exclusive design by One Space 
This is an original design, a collaboration between lead artist of One Space Ma Pinyi 马品一 and renowned square-ware master Chen Gang 陈岗. This square begonia teapot is fully handmade by young artisan Ma Shuai 马帅. 

Strictly limited to only 10 pieces globally, this high-difficulty square teapot combines traditional literati aesthetics, precise handmade craftsmanship, and excellent daily brewing performance — a rare collectible-grade Zisha artwork.

Artisan Background

Ma Shuai (Crafter)
A skilled young artisan specializing in fully handmade square ware. He studied under master Chen Gang, mastering rigorous slab-building, precise angle calibration, and fine surface finishing. His works feature balanced proportions, tight fitting, and clean, refined lines.

Chen Gang 陈岗 (Master Mentor)
Born in 1990, Chen Gang is a leading young master of handmade square Zisha ware. With more than a decade of professional experience, he is famous for his rigid-yet-gentle square style, smooth lines, and profound aesthetic philosophy.

His representative works such as Dawn, Virtue, and Serenity are widely collected. He focuses on “vessel carries the Dao”, integrating Eastern philosophy into modern Zisha creation.

Craft & Difficulty

Square floral-shaped teapots are among the most difficult handmade Zisha forms.

Made of pure Yixing Zini, that was from Master Chen Gang’s personal collection. This pot develops smooth, warm jade-like patina quickly with regular tea use, becoming more lustrous and vintage over years.
