Red-Yellow Clay is a rare subtype of classic Huanglongshan Red Clay.

Unlike ordinary Red Clay, which presents a pure yellow tone in its raw ore state, this special clay features unique interlaced red and yellow mineral textures. Its naturally mixed red-yellow ore layer is the origin of its elegant name — Red-Yellow Clay.

Mined from the Baoshan mining area of Huanglong Mountain, it shares the same geological stratum as Jiangpo Clay. Endowed with dense and hard mineral particles, this clay inherits the sturdy texture and stable firing performance of high-quality mountain ore, making it an excellent raw material for handmade Zisha teapots.

 Every Zisha teapot from Dihu Chengxin undergoes repeated trials under the technical supervision of 范志浩 Fan Zhihao. Each piece is meticulously carved to faithfully recreate the classic shapes of ancient teapots with consummate craftsmanship.

Born in 1994, Fan Zhihao has devoted himself to teapot making since 2012. He studied under the renowned Zisha masters 华建 Hua Jian (Master of Arts and Crafts) and 吴齐敏 Wu Qimin (Jiangsu Provincial Master of Traditional Craft Skills). Specializing in traditional round and square wares, he now leads the R&D and quality control for all products of Dihu Chengxin.
