Qian Xi Zini · Lishu Mine
Mined from Dashuitan pit of Lishu area, Huanglong Mountain, Dingshu, Yixing. It got its name from the excavation around Millennium Bathroom in year 2000. It is a natural symbiotic purple clay coexisting with Tianqing Ni without any artificial blending.
The raw ore reserve is only about 100–200 tons. After the mine was sealed, only stocked ore remains, making this material increasingly rare.
Patina performance: New pot comes with matte finish. Soft luster appears within days of tea use. After long-term nurturing, the pot develops silky waxy patina with deep jade-like gloss.
Best for oolong tea, raw & ripe Pu'er, black tea and red tea. It locks in tea aroma and enhances mellowness of liquor.
Production difficulty: Raw ore contains natural grit and iron spots. Repeated manual screening is required, leading to low yield of premium finished teapots.
Capacity: ~110ml
Multiple-hole filter
Craftsmanship | Semi-Handmade Process
This teapot adopts top-tier semi-handmade craftsmanship. A simple mould is only used to speed up the preliminary shaping of the pot body and ensure uniform, consistent aesthetics across every finished piece. The overwhelming majority of the production work is still completed meticulously by hand, retaining the texture and soul of pure handmade artistry.
