“Chun quan tang” is a well-known Zisha teapot studio in the mid-Qing dynasty. This is a Mo Gu piece replicated from one of their pot.
The teapot boasts a plump and round body, which is flat but still maintains an impressive posture of grace and splendor. Its spout is short and delicate, with a beautiful curve that ensures smooth and powerful pouring. The pot’s knob is slightly flat and round, complementing the body of the pot and lending it an elegant appearance. The overall design is soft and graceful, with simple and atmospheric, yet mesmerizing curves. It is intriguing. Master Ma has used Zisha as a medium to express his unique and advanced aesthetic taste through this beautiful piece.
